Introduction

This page is an example of an AR curation and gives a short introduction on ARchi VR.

View an AR Curation

An AR curation is a coherent set of Web pages and AR sessions which can be followed by tapping the corresponding links. Curated AR content can be started via universal links provided by registered organisations. Tap the top-right + button on the previous view to find and download new AR curations.

Here are two examples of starting an AR session from within a Web page:

History of Visited AR Curations

By touching the middle button of the toolbar on the start screen you will get a list of already visited AR curations. Select a curation to restart it again. Type the + button on the top right to add more curations.


Capture and Augment a Room

On the main screen do touch the top-right + button to start capturing a room. Then point camera to a decent textured area on the ground floor. After the floor is recognised hit floor-wall corners and follow the wall edges till to the start corner. Follow the guidance to capture windows, doors and interior elements.

Sharing of captured and augmented rooms is currently supported between your own iOS devices using iCloud.


App Extensions

The ARchi VR App allows to add extensions in order to enhance available features.

Track a walking person and get surprised.

Security & Data Privacy

The ARchi VR app as is does not collect any data on remote sites. Downloaded app extensions may transfer data to remote servers. App extensions show the data that is transferred by these symbols:

Data Download Only
No personal data will be submitted.

Data Upload and Download
Data from this device will be uploaded.

Upload of Space Data
Captured room data will be uploaded.

Upload of Location Data
Position of user will be uploaded.

Upload of Camera Snapshot
Camera view or photos will be uploaded.

You may check the protocol of transferred date within an AR ssession using the network analyzer (wipe out on top right of AR view).
